高分子ゲル研究会について

高分子ゲルは、ソフト＆ウェットマテリアルとして学術的に高い関心を集めており、ゲルの合成や構造解析、速度論、相転移現象、レオロジーなどの基礎研究が飛躍的に発展している。また、様々な高分子ゲルが食品や日用品、産業資材、医薬品などに利用されており、医療から環境、エネルギー、電気・電子、土木・建築まで幅広い分野での応用研究も進められている。特に、最近ではバイオマテリアルやセンサー、アクチュエーター、バッテリー、マイクロデバイスなどの新しい流れにも高分子ゲルが寄与している。本研究会は、1986年に活動を開始して以来、化学や物理学、材料学、食品科学、薬学、医学などを背景とした学際領域科学の研究交流の場として、基礎と応用の相互連携によって高分子ゲルの発展に貢献してきた。
研究会の活動は、夏のワークショップや秋の研究会講座、冬の研究討論会を中心に、高分子学会主催行事での特定テーマの企画や国際シンポジウムの開催など一年を通じて活発である。また、産官学からの研究者が相互ネットワークを構築し、本研究会が情報共有の機会も提供している。今後もゲル研究の伝統を引き継ぎつつ、最新テーマも取り入れた魅力的な企画を予定している。本研究会は、新しいゲル研究の潮流を生み出すための活気あるネットワーク構築を目指して、分野を問わず高分子ゲルに関心のある諸賢のご参加を期待している。

Polymer gels attract much attention as a research subject not only for applications to foods, daily goods, industrial materials, medicines, etc., but also for basic science of soft and wet materials. In particular, recently gel science has made remarkable progress in the fields of synthesis, charactarizations, kinetics, thermodynamics, rheology, etc., and various gel technologies contribute to development of biomaterials, sensors, actuators, battery, microdevices, etc. Since 1986, our group has developed polymer gel science and technology as a field of research exchange for interdisciplinary science based on chemistry, physics, material science, food science, pharmacy, medical science, etc.
Main activities of our group are workshop in summer for young scientists,
seminar in autumn mainly for companies, and discussion meeting in winter
for specialities of gels, incluing special session at annual meeting of
SPSJ and international symposium. Our group will provide the members with
various chances for discussing timely subjects on polymer gels, as well
as will inherit the tradition of exchanging ideas for promoting research
and develoment activities of the members. We expect many active people
to participate in our group for construction of stimulating human networks
and for emerging novel gel science and technology. |
